The memorial of holocausto is between the Postdamer Platz and the door of Brandenburg; one is an enormous grid of pillars of gray cement of variable heights. Peter Eisenman was designed by the New York architect; it is a monument dedicated to the genocide of Jews in Europe. The memorial one forms a true labyrinth on a uneven ground and symbolizes, according to its creator, an abstract representation of a field of wheat whipped by the wind… The memorial was inaugurated in May of 2005, after two years of works and numerous controversies.
